Educational objectives Students are expected to acquire knowledge of the functional anatomy of the central nervous system. They should therefore learn the pathophysiological mechanisms, clinical pictures, pharmacological and rehabilitation therapeutic approaches of the main diseases of the central nervous system, including: ischaemic stroke, haemorrhagic stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease. They should therefore learn the physiological basis of synaptic plasticity and its alterations in the context of major neurological diseases. Finally, students will have to acquire a critical view in reading original works on the use of rehabilitation techniques in the context of the neurological diseases treated during the course.
