Educational objectives
The course aims to provide students the ability to apply the knowledge acquired during each discipline lectures, such as understanding of the molecular basis of genetic transmission, familiarity with the use of some of the main methods applied in the biological chemistry, ability to relate anatomical organization to functional and evolutionary aspects.
Prerequisites
In order to benefit from the laboratory experiments on the topics listed in the program, students must have acquired basic knowledge on Genetics, Biological Chemistry, Comparative Anatomy.
Teaching methods
The course is organized in laboratory experiments regarding the following disciplines: Genetics, Biochemical Chemistry, Comparative Anatomy.
Other information
For the teaching calendar (lessons date, time and place), please check the Biological Sciences degree website in dcbb.unipg.it
Learning verification modality
For the attainment of the credits programmed for this teaching (2 credits-24 hours) it is necessary to attend at least 75% of the total number of hours, therefore at least 18 hours. The attendance will be assessed by roll call and signature capture.
