Use of new digital technologies:
Introduction to CAD/CAM systems for prosthetic design and fabrication.
Intraoral scanning and design software.
Introduction to the use of virtual articulators.

Educational objectives At the end of the placement, the student will be able to:
-Correctly handle dental materials in compliance with standard procedures.
-Understand the physical and mechanical properties of materials through practical tests.
-Apply dental laboratory procedures.
-Use digital technologies for prosthetic design and fabrication.

Exercises on dental models with denture-specific materials.
