| Contents | The course offers an introduction to the history of medicine and an in-depth look at the age of the Scientific Revolution, as the founding season of modern science. A particular focus will be on the relationship between the various disciplines and the mathematical-quantitative paradigm of modern science, especially in view of the gap between the exact and physical sciences and the biological sciences. |
