- Educational objectives
- The course aims to provide the student with an in-depth knowledge of main profiles of public law and, in particular, of constitutional law. Particular attention will be given to the matter of sources of law and human rights.
- Prerequisites
- No prerequisites are required for dealing with matter. The first part of the course will focus on the basic elements of the legal lexicon and the basic knowledge necessary for the continuation of the study.
- Teaching methods
- The didactic methods are traditional and articulated through frontal lessons. Exercises are not foreseen because of the nature of the discipline imparted.

- Learning verification modality
- Verification of learning will take place by oral examination. During the interview, questions will be asked about the entire study program. The exam will last for a total duration of 15-20 minutes, depending also on the course of the test.

- Introduction to the legal phenomenon. Elements of general theory of law. State Forms. Forms of government. The Italian Constitution. International and European laws. Laws of the State. Regional laws and local sources. Acts having force of law. Referendum. Form of Italian government. Constitutional foundamental rights and freedoms. Constitutional justice and constitutional guarantees.
