- The main objective of teaching is to provide students knowledge of the main internal diseases and of the main intervention measures.

- Pathologies of the cardiovascular system: ischemic heart disease, heart failure, myocarditis and pericarditis, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia, venous thromboembolism: diagnosis and therapy. Respiratory system disorders: COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure: diagnosis and therapy. Digestive system pathologies: gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis and peptic ulcer, pancreatitis, hepatitis, cholecystitis: diagnosis and therapy. Management of patients with diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease. Main rheumatological pathologies: diagnosis and therapy. Anemia: differential diagnosis and therapy.
