Educational objectives The exercise is to test the skills reached by the student to solve simple problems regarding the calculation of Gaussian compliance of products and of basic concepts of descriptive and inferential statistic.
Prerequisites Machine Desing subjects

fondamental topics of mechanical engineering of the first laurea degree: static strength and fatigue of metallic materials: essential

tension and stress in the beams and theory of De Saint Venant: essential
Teaching methods - frontal classroom lessons for all subjects in the classroom

- classroom exercises in which students will be divided into groups of three and final collegial discussion

Learning verification modality Final exam regarding the topics covered by the modules of the course consisting of:

initial exercise to be carried out under the supervision of Prof. Landi concerning argoments Module B (half an hour)
