UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS AND 5/6 YEAR POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS (SINGLE CYCLE DEGREE)
- Secondary school diploma in original language – one of the following qualifications:
- Untill 2003, Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate (ESLC)
- From 2002 to 2012/2013: Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Examination (EHEEE)
- From 2014: Ethiopian University Entrance Examination Certificate (EUEEC)
- From 2021: (Ethiopian) Secondary School Leaving (Certificat) Examination (SSLE/ESSLCE)
- Diploma higher professional education
- School report/ subject certificate “Certificate of school subjects/Transcript” in original language
- Official Translation in Italian*
- Additional requirements:
- For Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate (ESLC): GPA of at least 2.0 or at least 6 subjects (including English and Mathematics) with A, B or C
- Per l’Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Examination (EHEEE): at least 4 subjects with A, B or C
- For Ethiopian University Entrance Examination Certificate (EUEEC): total score (total) of at least 335
- For Ethiopian Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESSLCE): a total score (total) of at least 50 %
- For courses of study in English: adequate English skills certification
POSTGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS
- Bachelor degree, in original language:
- Bachelor’s Degree (3-4 years)
- Speciality degrees (Law, Engineering, Dentistry, Medicine etc.) - 5-6 years
- Official Transcript of Records, in original language
- Curriculum vitae et studiorum
- Program of exams or syllabus of the course
- Official Translation in Italian*
- Additional requirements:
- For courses of study in English: adequate English skills certification and minimum average score (GPA) of 3.00 out of 4.00
- The documentation needs to include also:
a. Statement of verification of academic qualification issued by CIMEA (Information Center on Mobility and Academic Equivalences);
b. One of the following documents:
- Statement of comparability of academic qualification issued by CIMEA (Information Center on Mobility and Academic Equivalences)
- Dichiarazione di valore in loco/ Declaration of Value issued by the Diplomatic/Consular representation competent for the territory in which the student requests a visa.
- Certification of one of the foreign centres of the ENIC/NARIC network
* The translation in Italian is not required if the original document is issued in English, French or Spanish.
