Contents | After introducing students to the discipline, the course will focus on the modus procedendi that distinguishes (and should always distinguish) legal reasoning. Specific attention will be paid to the process. |

Contents | Subject of the course are the doctrines and traditions of philosophical research as theory and critique of law. |
Reference texts | H. Hofmann, Introduzione alla filosofia del diritto e della politica, Laterza, last edition. Texts and documents of political and legal philosophy that will be shared during the course. Non-attending students are advised to supplement the study of Hofmann's Introduction with a textbook on the history of philosophy of law, such as Casadei-Zanetti, Manuale di Filosofia del Diritto (Giappichelli 2020), or Tincani, Filosofia del diritto (Loescher, ult. ed.) |
