The exam includes a final oral test, which consists of a discussion-interview on the topics covered during the course and in-depth on the recommended text.
Extended program
The course will deal with the main institutions and political structures of the late Middle Ages, with particular attention to the dynamics and phenomena that led to the evolution of the political frameworks of the Italian peninsula between the late Middle Ages and the early modern age, considered in a broader European context.
