Highlights
UNIMED is an international association founded in 1991 and headquartered in Rome. It brings together universities and higher education institutions from the Euro-Mediterranean region. Its mission is to promote academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation by fostering dialogue among universities and contributing to sustainable development through higher education, research, and innovation.
The association supports the internationalization of higher education institutions, the mobility of students and academic staff, participation in international projects, and the exchange of best practices. Through its extensive network of members and partners, UNIMED serves as a key reference point for university cooperation across the Mediterranean region and for dialogue with European and international institutions.
