cuia

The CUIA is an inter-university consortium established in 2002 as an initiative to promote the internationalization of the Italian higher education system and formally founded in 2004 under the coordination of the University of Camerino. Its mission is to promote and strengthen academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation between Italian and Argentine universities by fostering the development of strategic partnerships between the two countries.

The Consortium supports the mobility of students, doctoral candidates, academic staff, and researchers; promotes joint research projects, advanced training initiatives, and activities aimed at facilitating the mutual recognition of academic qualifications and the development of shared educational programmes. Through calls for proposals, workshops, scientific publications, and institutional events, CUIA serves as a key reference point for the internationalization of Italian universities in their relations with the Argentine higher education system and, more broadly, with Latin America.
