Organised in partnership with the University of Ioannina, the initiative will bring together institutional representatives, faculty members, doctoral candidates and researchers from the ARTEMIS European University Allianceto explore interdisciplinary perspectives on Open Borders and strengthen collaboration across the Alliance.

The ARTEMIS European University Alliance is a European university alliance bringing together eight partner institutions committed to transnational cooperation, research and innovation. Alongside the University of Perugia and the event's co-organising partner, the University of Ioannina, the Alliance includes Université Clermont Auvergne (France), Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg (Germany), Katholieke Hogeschool VIVES (Belgium), Høgskulen på Vestlandet (Norway), Universitatea Ovidius din Constanța (Romania) and Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool (Estonia).

The programme will open on Monday, 29 June, at the Department of Law, where the Open Borders Pinnacle Summit will feature institutional sessions, keynote speakers and research panels addressing the challenges of European academic cooperation.

ONYX student festival - Clermont 23-25 Aprile 2026

As a member of the ARTEMIS Alliance, the Università degli Studi di Perugia took part in the Onyx Student Festival (23–25 April 2026), organised by the Culture Department of the Université Clermont Auvergne in collaboration with the Centre Régional des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires (CROUS).
UNIPG’s participation was represented through the performance of the solo singer ECLISSI, who contributed an original musical proposal within a programme featuring performances, concerts, screenings, and participatory workshops.
Within the international dimension of the event, which also included the participation of an ensemble from the University of Ioannina, UNIPG’s presence further strengthened the value of cultural exchange, confirming music as a universal language capable of connecting different experiences and sensibilities.
