It's important to study with a text of the Italian Constitution.
Students can choose, in alternative, another manual of public law, of a
different author, in a recent edition.
Educational objectives
A good knowledge of main lines of Italian public law.
The course is designed both to provide students with a basic knowledge
and understanding of the main framework of the public law, also as a
premise for the further legal courses that the students will attend in their
subsequent career and in order to realise the relevance of the legal
dimension in the political systems. After a general introduction to some
fundamental concepts of the discipline, the students will be stimulated on
the study of the Italian system (civil law), being asked to deal with firsthand
material and case-law, in order to widen their practical knowledge
of the subject, too.
Prerequisites
Student has to know the italian History, from the Unity of Italy, to
plebiscite of 1946, untill the entry into force of Italian Constitution of
1948.
Student has to refer to the text of Italian Constitution
Teaching methods
The course is organized in theoretical lessons (63 hours).
During the course will be students presentation of seminars on topics
regarding the teaching course and progress assestments
Other information
Course attendance is optional, but strongly recommended.
Theacher meets students one day in the week in her room, located in Via
A. Pascoli n. 33 (Giurisprudenza), 2° floor, at Dipartimento di Scienze
Politiche, Area giuridica.
Students can speak with the teacher also during the course, before or
after each lesson.
Learning verification modality
The exam will go on for about twenty minutes, dipending on the student's
learnig.
