| Contents | • Identify care priorities and appropriate interventions in critical situations in both hospital and out-of-hospital settings. • Effectively activate in- and out-of-hospital emergency systems. • Manage advanced monitoring of critically ill patients' vital functions. • Manage patients requiring support for one or more organs, following diagnostic and therapeutic prescriptions. • Describe and implement interventions to support compromised functions, with particular attention to airway management and ventilation. • Use prioritization criteria (triage) in the management of individual patients or urgent/emergent multi-patient events. • Describe and implement interventions to prevent complications related to clinical evolution. • Identify specific risks (infectious, technological, pharmacological) and activate risk management strategies. |
