The course analyzes the main areas of basic management. After analyzing the firm and its competive environment, it presents the main strategic decisions and the main areas of the management of the firm such as production, marketing and supply chain management

Educational objectives
The course offers both theoretical and operational knowledge and skills on the fundamentals of firm's management.

The main knowledge will be:

- To know the variety of behaviors of enterprises;

- To know the main dimensions of competitive analysis;

- To know the main competitive and growth strategies;

- To know the main decisions regarding the functions of the firm: production, marketing, R& D, logistics and sourcing;

- To evaluate the competitive environment

- To identify strategic alternatives

- To identify the main decisions in the management of the company
