- The teaching of Gnathology defines the main clinical pictures of craniocervical-mandibular disorders, starting from the anatomy and neurophysiology of the TMJ up to the most innovative clinical pictures and treatment tools, in light of the scientific literature.

- The educational objectives of the course are as follows:
- Knowledge of the anatomy and neurophysiology of mastication and TMJ
- Knowledge of the main clinical presentations of craniomandibular disorders
- Knowledge of the main instrumental aids for gnathological diagnosis
- Ability to make differential diagnoses in TMJ disorders
- Knowledge of the basic therapeutic principles of craniomandibular disorders
- Ability to analyze radiological data of the TMJ and cervical region. - Prerequisites
- -Basic knowledge of head and neck anatomy
-Passed prosthetic technology and laboratory exam - Teaching methods
- The course is structured around lectures led by the professor in charge of TEACHING and specific seminars on internship skills led by subject experts. This will be supported by AEDs on topics not covered in class, which are considered an integral part of the program.
- Learning verification modality
- Assessment will be conducted through a face-to-face exam defined by the commission. This exam will test students' knowledge of the learning objectives, along with practical learning assessment sessions based on the internship record.
Students will be eligible for the final exam only after achieving all the learning objectives of the practical internship, as demonstrated by signing the student record. - Extended program
