- The course provides students with the practical operational skills of evaluating and treating craniomandibular dysfunctions, starting from theoretical teaching and arriving at the definition of practical implementation protocols.

- Educational objectives
- The general training objective is to understand and be able to carry out the treatment plan for the dysfunctional patient, from the visit to the definition of the clinical pictures of dysfunction to the treatment methods, both instrumental and manual.
- Prerequisites
- The same as those of gnathology teaching with the achievement of attendance at the same lessons
- Teaching methods
- Teaching is conducted in classrooms with mannequins and in classrooms with subject matter experts and the professor in charge, using simulations of dysfunctional patients. Thematic seminars will be held dedicated to each of the required skills. During the academic year, students must complete their transcript under the supervision of tutors and with the final signature of the professor in charge. Without this signature, they will not be able to take the final exam.

- Compilation of the student's record by the responsible tutors and the teacher in charge of the course

1) Complete gnathological examination on the student (at least 1 verified with presentation)
2) Perform at least 10 exams with physiotherapy tests under tutor supervision
3) Perform at least 10 EMG exams per student
4) Perform at least 1 diabruxo exam per student, monitored by tutors, with discussion of the results
5) Complete at least 10 Axis II medical records with calculation of the complete score
6) Perform at least 5 sessions of mandibular deconditioning - Obiettivi Agenda 2030 per lo sviluppo sostenibile
