- Laboratory activities related to botanical sciences, with observations aligned with the General Botany syllabus. In particular, observations will be carried out on the plant cell and plant tissues across the various systematic categories.

- Teaching materials related to the laboratory observations will be provided.
- Educational objectives
- Acquisition of practical skills in the use of microscopic techniques for the preparation and observation of samples using optical and stereoscopic (binocular) microscopes.
- Prerequisites
- Having attended the General Botany course.
- Teaching methods
- Laboratory activities are preceded by the necessary theoretical and practical instructions. Attendance is mandatory.
- Learning verification modality
- Assessment and the assignment of pass/fail eligibility are based on the achievement of the objectives set for each laboratory activity. Attendance is strictly mandatory, as these are practical activities.

- Observation of the plant cell: chloroplasts in chlorophyllous tissue, chloroplasts in filamentous algae, primary tissues, anatomy of the primary structure of monocot and dicot stems and roots.
