Educational objectives The students must acquire knowledge of epidemiology and prophylaxis of communicable and non-communicable diseases. The students must also acquire knowledge of the infectious risks to which pregnant women are exposed and the means of prevention. Furthermore, they must acquire knowledge of possible complications from non-communicable diseases and the basics of nutrition and lifestyle during pregnancy

Learning verification modality ORAL EXAM LASTING APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES, DIVIDED INTO 2-3 QUESTIONS RELATING TO EPIDEMIOLOGICAL, CLINICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC ASPECTS OF THE MAIN INFECTIOUS DISEASES IN PREGNANCY, ILLUSTRATED DURING THE LESSON.
