Contents
The aim is to study the political parties, the comparative political
system and the democratic governments.

Educational objectives
At the end of the course students will have to know the basics of
literature on political parties and comparative political systems, and be
able to interpret the relationships between the political sphere, the
institutional sphere and models of democracy. In this regard, the
continuous tension between theoretical reflection and empirical
knowledge allow students to deepen national and international case
studies.

No prerequisites.
Teaching methods
The course includes frontal lectures by the teacher.

Learning verification modality
The preparation of the students will be evaluated through a written test
on the books of the program. Only attending students can check it.
Extended program
The course is aimed at deepening of: 1) political parties; 2) comparative
political system; 3) democratic governments. The program is also
