| Educational objectives | Acquire specific knowledge on the importance of food choices and nutritional status in physical activity and sport; understand techniques for assessing nutritional status and nutritional needs associated with different types and intensities of physical exercise; learn dietary techniques applied to managing different types/intensities and phases of physical work and sporting activity (preparation, performance, and recovery from physical work, pre-competition and competitive phases, high-intensity and long-duration sporting activity, chrononutrition and management of psychophysical recovery and circadian rhythms); understand the limitations and importance of nutritional supplements and dietary supplements for athletes and sportspeople. |

| Educational objectives | The aim of the course is to contribute to the training of graduates with specific knowledge in the field of problems related to the relationship between onco-haematological diseases and nutrition. The training activity is aimed at the study of cancer pathologies more directly related to nutrition, evaluating the influence that nutrition can have on the onset, in the prevention and therapy of malignant neoplasias and related complications. The course will also allow the student to acquire some basic technical notions on specific laboratory diagnostic methods in solid and blood tumors. |
| Prerequisites | To be able to understand and face the course, the student must have passed with huge success the exam preparatory described in the regulation on the degree course. |
