- The main contents of the course revolve around an overall overview of the essential aspects of Italian public law, through the understanding of topics related to the constitutional order, the organization and structure of public powers, and the relationship between public and private subjects. The fundamental institutions of public law will be adequately explored with a focus, in particular, on the sources of Italian and European Union law, as well as on the reciprocal relations between the State, the Regions, and the European Union. The organization and presentation of these contents reflect the aim of providing students with knowledge of the main public-law topics and the related linguistic competence needed to develop skills of in-depth analysis and critical reflection.

Giappichelli, latest edition. The manual must be studied in its entirety.

- The course aims to provide an overall knowledge of the principles and
functioning of the Italian legal system, with particular reference to the
constitutional bodies (structure and functions), to the relationships
between them, and to the system of freedoms and fundamental rights, in
the light of the most recent socio-institutional evolutions. - Prerequisites

- The course takes place with frontal teaching parts and parts in in-depth

- Assessment of learning of the course content takes place through a written test (the questions — multiple-choice answers — will cover the topics specified below under the heading Extended Program and will be based on the above-mentioned textbook in its entirety).
Students with disabilities may agree with the Professor on the most suitable arrangements for taking the exam according to their specific needs, which the Professor will seek to accommodate by structuring the assessment in the most comfortable way possible.
