Contents The course aims to introduce the student to the knowledge of the main models for family-based intervention. Three different approach will be discussed: systemic-relational, attachment-based, and psychoanalytic. Basic knowledge on intervention for high conflict divorcing families is presented.
Reference texts English references are available upon request. Clinical Handbook of Emotion-Focused Therapy, Edited by Leslie S. Greenberg and Rhonda N. Goldman (2019). Szapocznik, J., Hervis, O. (2020). Brief Strategic Family Therapy.
Educational objectives The main aim is to provide knowledge and skills about the most representative and current debates on family-based intervention
Prerequisites Adequate knowledge in the field of psychology and in the theoretic models of intervention (individual and family-based). If you are not a master student in psychology, please contact the professor by email before enrolling in it.
Teaching methods The course will take place as face-to-face lessons for most of the topics
