- The student is expected to develop a critical awareness of the main paradigms that have shaped the development of scientific thought, as well as of the epistemological foundations of scientific inquiry, with particular attention to issues related to moral responsibility. The course aims at: the acquisition of both philosophical and historical-scientific content within an interdisciplinary framework; the ability to read and interpret selected texts; and the development of critical, interpretative, and analytical skills.

- The course aims to clarify the epistemological foundations of scientific inquiry by examining key paradigms in the history of scientific thought. Part of the course will be devoted to an examination of the debate on moral responsibility, with particular attention to the concepts and taxonomies developed within different theoretical perspectives.
