- The codification of law in Europe and Latin America (18th-20th centuries).
- Reference texts
- Textbooks and study materials for exam preparation will be indicated and made available to students during class.
- Educational objectives
- The course aims to increase students' knowledge of the legal system that accompanied the social transformations in Europe and Latin America between the 18th and 20th centuries.
- Prerequisites
- In order to understand the topics covered in the course and achieve the learning objectives, the student must have a good general education and possess essential knowledge of modern and contemporary history. This prerequisite applies to both attending and non-attending students.

- Lectures and classroom discussion.

- Learning verification modality
- The exam consists of an oral examination, during which students must demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the topics covered in class and illustrated in the study materials. Students must express themselves using mature language and appropriate technical and legal vocabulary, and demonstrate their ability to understand legal phenomena in their historical context.
