| Educational objectives | Knowledge of the methods of representation, of the norms and of the graphic codes for the architectural design, ability to manage the form from the ideational stage to its representation. The main objective of the course is to favor the development of design as an architectural form of thought. In this sense, the course aims to provide the ability to transpose three-dimensional entities in two-dimensional representations and vice versa, and to weld the theoretical concepts, which form the basis of the design, to its practical implementation, in order to allow management, concept and cognitive, of the processes of transformation / conservation of architectural and environmental reality. |
| Prerequisites | Basic knowledge acquired at the high school concerning Euclidean geometry and drawing |
| Teaching methods | The course will address the teaching units divided into theoretical lessons, application exercises and periodic reviews. - Theoretical lessons and practical exercises - Seminars |
| Learning verification modality | During the course, the student will have to produce tables in A3 format (traditional drawing) and some drawings (digital drawing) which will cover specific topics related to drawing, architectural survey and design. These papers will be reviewed and evaluated and the final exam will consist of an oral test (about 30 minutes) which will focus on the course program and the discussion of the papers produced by the student. Registration for the exam is scheduled through the IT service (SOL-UNIPG) |
| Extended program | - Introduction – Theory of digital design - Classroom practicals (SketchUp) - 2D CAD: automated drawing - 3D CAD: automated drawing - Raster and vector graphics: automated drawing for civil engineering - Drawing for Furniture and Minimal spaces - Introduction to architectural surveying - BIM modelling |
