Opportunità di mobilità, formazione e collaborazione internazionale offerte dall’Alleanza ARTEMIS

Si è svolto l’ARTEMIS Students Info Day, un evento dedicato alla presentazione delle opportunità rivolte agli studenti e alle studentesse dell’Università degli Studi di Perugia nell’ambito dell’Alleanza ARTEMIS – Alliance for Regional Transition, Equality, Mobility, Inclusion and Sustainability. L’iniziativa ha illustrato il ruolo e le potenzialità delle alleanze universitarie europee, oggi 65 in totale, di cui UniPG è orgogliosa di far parte.

Nel suo intervento, il Magnifico Rettore, Prof. Massimiliano Marianelli, ha ringraziato i numerosi studenti presenti, sottolineando il valore simbolico del primo evento ARTEMIS nella rinnovata Aula Magna di Giurisprudenza. Il Rettore ha evidenziato come l’Alleanza ARTEMIS rappresenti un’opportunità che va oltre il tradizionale Erasmus, favorendo la costruzione di reti europee stabili e aprendo nuove prospettive, tra cui quella del diploma europeo. Ha inoltre richiamato l’impegno dell’Ateneo nello sviluppo di un’offerta formativa innovativa, in particolare sui temi della pace e dei diritti umani, attraverso nuovi progetti condivisi con i partner dell’Alleanza. Centrale, infine, il ruolo degli studenti, riconosciuti come protagonisti nel promuovere i valori europei e nel cogliere appieno le opportunità offerte da ARTEMIS. 

La Prof.ssa Diana Salciarini, Delegata all’Internazionalizzazione e Cooperazione, ha illustrato il significato strategico delle alleanze universitarie europee, descritte come veri e propri campus europei diffusi. In questo contesto, studenti, docenti e ricercatori hanno l’opportunità di collaborare stabilmente oltre i confini nazionali, partecipare a percorsi formativi congiunti e innovativi e sperimentare nuove forme di mobilità internazionale, anche in modalità mista o virtuale, ampliando l’accesso e l’impatto dell’esperienza europea.

A seguire, la Prof.ssa Stefania Stefanelli, coordinatrice istituzionale di ARTEMIS per UniPG, ha illustrato il partenariato e la mission dell’Alleanza, definendola “l’Erasmus Plus del futuro”, pensata per integrare e arricchire l’esperienza universitaria senza sostituire il programma Erasmus tradizionale. La Dott.ssa Monia Montagnini, Project Manager di ARTEMIS, ha presentato i principali programmi e le possibilità di mobilità offerte agli studenti.

L’incontro ha incluso anche testimonianze dirette di studenti in mobilità, che hanno condiviso esperienze reali e consigli pratici per chi sogna di partire. La giornata si è conclusa con un momento informale di confronto, un aperitivo e corner informativi dedicati ai partner dell’Alleanza e all’associazione ESN – Erasmus Student Network, offrendo agli studenti l’occasione di approfondire le possibilità di mobilità e cooperazione internazionale.

Opportunities for mobility, training and international collaboration offered by the ARTEMIS Alliance

The ARTEMIS Students Info Day was held on 15th December, an event dedicated to presenting opportunities for students enrolled at the University of Perugia within the ARTEMIS Alliance – Alliance for Regional Transition, Equality, Mobility, Inclusion and Sustainability. The initiative illustrated the role and potential of European University Alliances, now 65 in total, of which UniPG is proud to be a part.

In his speech, the Rector, Prof. Massimiliano Marianelli, thanked the many students present, emphasising the symbolic value of the first ARTEMIS event in the renovated Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law. Prof. Marianelli highlighted how the ARTEMIS Alliance represents an opportunity that goes beyond the traditional Erasmus programme, promoting the construction of stable European networks and opening up new perspectives, including that of a European diploma.

The Rector also highlighted the University's commitment to developing innovative educational programmes, particularly on the themes of peace and human rights, through new projects shared with the other members of the Alliance. Finally, he emphasised the central role of students, recognised as key players in promoting European values and fully embracing the opportunities offered by ARTEMIS.

Prof. Diana Salciarini, Delegate for Internationalisation and Cooperation, illustrated the strategic significance of European University Alliances, described as true European campuses spread across the continent. In this context, students, teachers and researchers have the opportunity to collaborate on a permanent basis across national borders, participate in joint and innovative training courses and experiment with new forms of international mobility, including blended or virtual modes, thereby expanding access to and the impact of the European experience.

Next, Prof. Stefania Stefanelli, institutional coordinator of Artemis for UniPG, illustrated the partnership and mission of the Alliance, defining it as “the Erasmus Plus of the future”, designed to integrate and enrich the university experience without replacing the traditional Erasmus programme. Dr Monia Montagnini, ARTEMIS Project Manager, presented the main programmes and mobility opportunities offered to students.

The meeting also included first-hand accounts from students who had participated in mobility programmes, who shared their real experiences and practical advice for those dreaming of going abroad. The day ended with an informal discussion, an aperitif and information corners dedicated to the Alliance partners and the ESN – Erasmus Student Network association, offering students the opportunity to learn more about mobility and international cooperation opportunities.
