Contenuti | Il corso tratta di energia dal punto di vista della Fisica e si articola in tre parti fondamentali: I Principi fondamentali: si affrontano i principi di trasformazione dell'energia a partire dalla termodinamica classica fino alla meccanica statistica di non equilibrio, con particolare riferimento ai processi che avvengono alle micro e nano scale. II Termodinamica del calcolo: si discute in che modo l'energia viene utilizzata nel funzionamento dei dispositivi di elaborazione dell'informazione, con particolare riferimento ai limiti fondamentali del calcolo. III Energy Harvesting: si discute la tematica del recupero di energia dall'ambiente per l'alimentazione di dispositivi elettronici mobili in una prospettiva di Internet delle cose. |

Obiettivi formativi | Rendere lo studente familiare con il concetto di energia ed i principi di trasformazione di questa alle micro e nano scale.
